MEDIA RELEASE: AGRIFUTURES ANNOUNCED AS FOUNDING PARTNER OF FARM TABLE

Described as the online sidekick for Australian farmers, the Farm Table is launching on November 9, with support from its foundational partner, AgriFutures Australia.

The Farm Table is an online ecosystem to build the next generation of confident and informed Australian farmers. It does this by harnessing the collective knowledge of the agricultural sector and encouraging two-way collaboration and learning between new farmers, older farmers and the agri-service sector.

AgriFutures Australia have thrown their support behind the online ecosystem, identifying the Farm Table as a powerful solution for farming information and connecting farmers from all across Australia in a new and innovative way.

AgriFutures Australia vision is to grow the long-term prosperity of Australian rural industries. This includes delivering initiatives that attract capable people into careers in agriculture, build the capability of future rural leaders, and support change makers and thought leaders.

“Supporting emerging leaders and new ideas is a key focus of our organisation. The Farm Table is a new and important resource for the agricultural community across Australia.  We are proud to be a major supporter in building a platform that provides access to information in one convenient location,” says John Harvey, Managing Director, AgriFutures Australia.

John Harvey will be featuring on a panel during the online event that will be livestreamed on www.farmtable.com.au on November 9, 2017. The panel will share their insights from working with farmers from across Australia, outlining particular issues farmers are facing and what top producers are doing and shed light on future farming risks and how to turn them into opportunities.
