Emilie Byrne- Director of Content

Emilie’s expertise comes from a diverse work background, with most roles centering around community development in a variety of expressions and locations, including metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria, the N.T., and extended stints in Japan and Europe.

Emilie completed her secondary education in regional Victoria and lived and worked on family farms, instilling in her a love of agriculture and rural life, valuing the grounded pragmatism and resilience endemic to rural and regional Australia.

Emilie knows very well how language is a primary tool for expression and communication, and how best it can be used to effectively benefit regional and rural business. Her interests include strengthening communities, social equity, and creative change-making. Some of her past experience includes project management; grant management; emergency management & recovery; reconciliation; marketing and communications; capacity building and policy, report & content writing.

Emilie is also our go-to for experience in; community engagement, stakeholder needs analysis; developing consultative approaches; workshop facilitation; building and enhancing program functionality and accessibility; and developing program frameworks.
