  • To help you get the most out of the Business School in between the workshops, each month for the six month program will run as follows:  

Week 1: Online Learning Materials

Short videos to watch and worksheets to work out how to relate it back to your business. 

Week 2: Business School Group Call

Group call with our experts from ABDI who have lived and breathed the difficulties of running a business.

Week 3: Homework time!

Yep that’s right! You’ll be putting everything you’re learning along the way in to practice on your own business. 

Week 4: Members Only Webinar

When the group gets fired up over a topic, the team from ABDI will draw on their own knowledge and others in the business to create a special webinar to work through the topic.

The program is open to those who:  

  • Are 18-40 years old
  • Have an active ABN or work on a family farm with an active ABN  
  • Their ABN is registered in NSW  

Live in the middle nowhere? No problem!  

  •  We will pay for your accommodation and 50% of the travel costs to get you to your nearest town! 
  • The fine print: Accommodation to a maximum of $150/night & 50% of the cost of travel @ 0.68c/km if you drive your vehicle or 50% of your airfares).

Who are ABDI?

The Agribusiness Development Institute (ABDI) are business owners just like you.  

They specialise in working with and coaching business owners to develop and implement plans for their agribusiness. The ABDI team will help you understand how to manage the business and people side of things, with years of experience in working directly with business owners. Find out more here

Gordon Stone Gordon has been in business for the long haul. He spends his days in sunny QLD and loves helping farm business owners manage their businesses better. Gordon has operated in the agri-business sector for over 25 years so he’s got the skills in strategy and business management.  

Lee O’Dwyer Lee is the money man. A chartered accountant with 15 years of senior financial and corporate experience. Lee is a wealth of knowledge in complex family business and small business situations and transactions
