What is Boost?

Boost is the second section of the new Farm Table ecosystem that will go live on November 9.

Boost is an Opportunities Database that provides the agricultural industry one central place to find events, courses and training, and funding and grants opportunities from across Australia.

Why was it developed?

Seeking opportunities off-farm to develop new skills or assistance to implement new ideas and innovation is part of the continuous improvement journey for farmers.

However, finding these opportunities in a timely manner can be difficult. Events, courses and funding opportunities are spread out across so many websites, social media platforms, flyers and direct email and endless searches on Google often leave us feeling deflated.

Why is it called Boost?

We understand that learning skills on-farm is critical in building our career foundations. The next step is to seek further training, opportunities, and even investment, off-farm, to boost what you are already doing on farm.

Boost, by definition, means to help or encourage something or someone to increase or improve. The Farm Table Opportunities Database helps farmers boost themselves and their businesses by making it easier than ever to find the opportunities for them to do so.

Enabling full access to the industry’s events, training and grants in one place enables a farmer to understand the array of opportunities available to them and then go forward with something that suits them and their needs.

Can organisations add their own events, training or grants?

Absolutely.

The Farm Table provides a central point for farmers to find these things and logging your opportunity with us enables you to reach a greater audience of engaged farmers.

We will have more information shortly about how you can log in with a unique account and update and upload your courses, events and funding from your own dashboard. This ensures your post is relevant, accurate, personalised and timely and you can update it whenever you like.
